Class 6 for V Yacht - Hydraulic

O Yachts and V Yacht collaborated with O Yachts in charge of composit job and V Yachts for boat completion (Engine, Interior, Rudders...).

V Yacht is specialised in Hydraulic systems for boats, with real extended experience.
Hydraulic is used for :
 - Second engine for harbour with hydraulic pod
 - Main sail sheet management is made with Carbon hydraulic ram
 - Main sail inboom furling is hydraulic
- Solent, Genoa, Genaker, Code0 are using hydraulic furlers
- Tender lifting management is made with hydraulic ram
 - Hydraulic below mast sensor is giving sail plan load pressure in Tones

Why : much lighter than electric solutions
Why : much faster furling (excellent for Code0 or Asymetric furling)
Why : load sensor to stop at excessive load. For instance, when furling the front sails, the system will stop before breaking parts if something get blocked.
